Senior Project Manager - Water Infrastructure

Ganymede is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-value infrastructure projects within the water sector. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects, managing all phases of the project lifecycle from planning and design to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and deliver large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects within the Severn Trent Water region.
  2. Lead project teams, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
  3. Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  4. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring all project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  5. Implement and oversee health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all project stages.
  6. Report regularly on project progress, risks, and performance to senior management.
  7. Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Project Management experience within the water or infrastructure sectors.
  2. Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2).
  3. Water Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, and wastewater systems.
  4. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  5. Communication: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and managing expectations.
  6. Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls effectively.
  7. Health & Safety: Strong focus on HSE standards, with a track record of delivering projects safely.
