Job Overview

The LEGO Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead our semiconductor sourcing efforts. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain deep commercial relationships with key technology suppliers, leading commercial discussions and negotiations.
  • Lead the Semiconductor Strategic Sourcing Team (SST) in managing sourcing strategies for MPU, MCU, and ASIC categories.
  • Drive the development of assigned semiconductor and SoC integrated circuits, including establishing and executing procurement category strategies, contracts, and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key sourcing and governance initiatives, develop plans for execution, and drive supplier segmentation and performance management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a global category execution plan, take accountability for progress, and build market insights to inform sourcing priorities.
  • Provide active leadership and influencing among stakeholders, finance, and suppliers, driving company-wide cost saving initiatives.
  • Manage global/regional suppliers, including contracting, negotiations, performance management, and quality control.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of defining the future positioning of the LEGO brand in the digital era. As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will drive impact by bringing your strategic and technical mindset into play, working closely with key stakeholder teams and partners.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in electronics engineering and demonstrated commercial working experience in the area of ASIC or custom silicon design. You will be fluent in English and have strong interpersonal and communication skills with multicultural experience.

This role will require an innovative and strategic mentality, a driven and action-oriented approach, and the ability to adjust to change in a positive way. You will be a team player with open communication skills, able to lead complex negotiations at a global/regional level and drive supplier segmentation and performance management initiatives.
