Role Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Category Director, you will oversee the sourcing team within the healthcare sector. Your primary focus will be to provide strategic direction and leadership to the sourcing team, ensuring that sourcing activities contribute significant value through the formulation and implementation of effective sourcing strategies tailored for each project.
Key Duties:
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with specific commercial objectives.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring optimal value for money.
- Taking accountability for contributions to procurement project delivery, advising on potential sourcing methodologies.
- Ensuring that each project reflects suitable sourcing approaches.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and substantial experience at a senior level, preferably within the NHS and healthcare sectors. You should also demonstrate a proven track record in crafting complex sourcing strategies, business plans, and programs that yield significant value for customers.
