About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Assistant Technical Officer to join our expanding pharmacy team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Senior Assistant Technical Officer, you will be responsible for providing PA support to the chief pharmacist and admin support to the wider pharmacy team. You will also be required to work independently and within the wider pharmacy team, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, working closely with our Medication Safety Officer to analyse daily reports and escalate any issues appropriately, providing support for the completion of storage and CD audits, and supporting with clozapine services.

The successful candidate will have a full NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services and excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills. You will be hardworking and motivated to optimise patient care, contribute to the maintenance of patient safety, and help develop pharmacy services into the future.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide PA support to the chief pharmacist and admin support to the wider pharmacy team.
  • Work independently and within the wider pharmacy team.
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries.
  • Work closely with our Medication Safety Officer to analyse daily reports and escalate any issues appropriately.
  • Provide support for the completion of storage and CD audits.
  • Support with clozapine services.
