Interim Finance Manager Opportunity

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Interim Finance Manager to join a successful listed services business in Redruth. This is a pivotal assignment that will see the successful candidate managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee transactional duties performed by an Accounts Assistant
  2. Conduct variance analysis and internal management reporting
  3. Prepare management accounts and cashflow projections
  4. Ensure statutory VAT reporting compliance
  5. Provide technical accounting support to the CFO
  6. Assist with year and quarter end statements
  7. Work with external auditors
  8. Review accuracy of the outsourced payroll function
  9. Collaborate with the company's IT service providers

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of general finance experience, preferably with a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced senior management team, external auditors, banks, and external shareholders. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for modern accounting and IT platforms, and a real "let's solve this" attitude will fit in with the existing team.
