About the Position

As an SEN Teaching Assistant at TeacherActive in Leicester, you will play a vital role in creating inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Providing personalized support to students with challenging behavior and emotional behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to design and implement tailored learning plans.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students receive a comprehensive education.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents and carers to keep them informed about student progress.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
