Health, Safety, and Environment Lead

We are committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment at CV Library, and we're seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Lead to join our team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our HSE strategy and driving compliance across all sites.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in HSE leadership to develop and implement site-specific HSE plans that meet business objectives and foster a positive safety culture. Your experience in leading and mentoring teams will be invaluable in shaping the HSE vision and inspiring a culture of excellence within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development and implementation of site-specific HSE plans that align with business goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor and lead the site-based HSE team to drive performance improvement and create a robust HSE culture.
  • BUILD STRONG STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENT HSE PERSONNEL AND ENSURE SMOOTH INTEGRATION OF HSE INITIATIVES.
  • Collaborate with Operational Management to deliver 'through the line' HSE initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Routine Duties:
  • Support Operations in identifying hazards and assessing risks, ensuring a proactive approach to HSE management.
  • Monitor and record accidents, incidents, and near misses, assigning actions to mitigate future events.
  • Develop and disseminate HSE information and provide guidance on HSE systems and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits on site, developing compliance indicators to measure progress and drive improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in CDM regulations and highly regulated environments.
  • NVQ 5/NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) - Desired.
  • Grad IOSH Status - Essential.
Salary:

£75,000 - £95,000 per annum, based on experience.
