HSE Lead Role Overview

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across various markets. As a HSE Lead, you will play a key role in managing site-based HSE personnel and providing guidance to the Site Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing stakeholder relationships regarding HSE matters
  • Disseminating knowledge to HSE Advisors
  • Leading team members in executing effective audit processes
  • Developing relationships with Client HSE personnel
  • Engaging with site personnel and HSE Advisors
  • Working with Operational Management for HSE 'through the line' delivery

Close Cooperation:

Work with the Regional HSE Manager to identify and monitor issues, create new ideas, and drive improvements to products, services, health, safety, and environmental performance.

Routine Duties:

  • Providing support to Operations to ensure hazards are identified and risks assessed
  • Disseminating HSE information to HSE Advisors
  • Giving guidance on HSE systems and initiatives
  • Conducting HSE audits onsite
  • Delivering onsite HSE training
  • Developing HSE Initiatives
  • Providing guidance and support on HSE matters
  • Ensuring HSE related concerns are reported

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Auditing/Inspection
  • Incident Management & Investigation
  • HSE Legislation
  • CDM Regulations Experience
  • Management System Standards
  • Industrial Services Sector and Petrochemical Industry
  • Improvement planning
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Grad IOSH Status
  • NVQ 5/NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
