We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join our Commercial team at V3 Recruitment. As a Technical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the tender process from initial inquiry to submission.
- Support Project Management through delivery.
- Develop and maintain product and service knowledge to represent the company to the highest standards.
- Work closely with Contracts, Commercial, and Office departments throughout.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Present estimates to clients and negotiate pricing if necessary.
- Maintain documentation of all estimates and related correspondence.
Requirements:
- Organized, self-motivated, methodical with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of negotiating and securing contracts.
- Personable and able to establish long-term relationships with clients to support future business growth.
- Highly numerate and numbers-driven individual.
- Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control project expenses.
