We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use issues, helping them to access the resources and services they need to achieve recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized support plans for service users, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, clinical psychologists, and peer mentors, to provide comprehensive support services.
- Build strong relationships with service users, social services, clinical services, and other agencies to ensure seamless support and referrals.
- Identify and engage with hard-to-reach groups, supporting individuals at risk of dropping out of treatment to stay engaged and progress towards recovery.
- Experience of working in the substance use sector or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of the recovery agenda and the needs of individuals with substance use issues.
