Job Description: We are seeking an organised and communicative individual to support our client's service team as a Parts Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify parts needed for engineers and workshops.
  • Order parts either directly from suppliers or from stock.
  • Ensure costs are controlled and communicated clearly.
  • Keep engineers and controllers updated on delivery times and any changes.
  • Follow up on back orders to ensure timely delivery.

About the Role: As a Parts Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring that the right parts are identified and ordered promptly, helping our client's engineers, workshops, and service teams keep everything running smoothly. You will also provide administrative support for the service team when needed.

Requirements:

  • A background in parts knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • PC literacy and basic IT skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Negotiation skills.
