Forbes Solicitors are seeking a skilled Financial Transactions Coordinator to join their Finance Team at their Head Office in Blackburn. This is a full-time role working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at their Rutherford House Office.

The Financial Transactions Coordinator responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily banking functions;
  • Preparing online electronic bank transfers, CHAPS, BACS, and Faster;
  • Bank Reconciliation - Client & Business accounts;
  • Client ledger reconciliations;
  • Administration of petty cash;
  • Processing of client and office accounting transactions, including postings;
  • Processing client to office transfers;
  • Complying with SRA rules;
  • Month End SRA Compliance Folder;
  • Answering internal and external accounts queries;

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Legal Cashier and knowledge of accounting processes. They will also have excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail, and be able to work effectively, prioritizing tasks by importance of completion to meet deadlines. Additionally, they will have excellent knowledge of IT systems, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, and be able to work effectively as part of a team, providing cover where necessary.
