Ambulance Operations Manager

As an Ambulance Operations Manager at Sja's West, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ambulance services. Your key responsibility will be to manage and oversee the daily activities of your team, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for delivering excellent patient-centered services. If you have experience in managing teams and have a strong understanding of operational processes, we would love to hear from you.
The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description- Manage and oversee the daily activities of your team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Ensure all operational issues are managed in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Be trained as an Educator to deliver station/contract-based timely initial and/or remedial education to ensure continuity of services.
- Forecast changes in operational requirements and demand, planning and acting accordingly to mitigate these.
- Maintain plans to improve overall operational performance in all Ambulance stations contained within the area of responsibility, including but not limited to patient experience, clinical standards, cost control, health and safety, and other relevant KPIs.
- Create contract and performance reports, obtaining and interpreting data, drawing themes, and suggesting improvements.
- Implement a performance management culture in line with SJA policies, ensuring that 1-2-1s, performance and development reviews, and team meetings take place regularly with recorded outcomes and actions.
- A passion for delivering high-quality, well-led, patient-centered ambulance services.
- Experience in managing teams and a strong understanding of operational processes.
