Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment professional to join our team as Head of Health, Safety and Environment. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Monitor and report on health, safety, and environmental performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- NEBOSH General certificate and aspirations to achieve or on course to achieve NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
