Head of Health, Safety and Environment Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Health, Safety and Environment to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our health, safety, and environmental initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement improvements that result in improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to staff.
  • Manage and deliver departmental budgets to forecast.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience at HSE Manager level or above in the food manufacturing, logistics, or distribution sectors.
  • NEBOSH General certificate with aspirations to achieve or on course to achieve NEBOSH LEVEL 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Inspirational leadership skills to promote and deliver operational goals and objectives.
  • A track record of being a team builder and partnering with senior management to implement improvements that result in improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
