Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Health Safety to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve health and safety performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform health and safety decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
