Field-Based Merchandising Specialist

About the Role:

eXPD8 is seeking a skilled Tactical Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based retail merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of merchandising standards and guidelines in a range of high street retailers on behalf of iconic household name brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Standards: You will be responsible for adhering to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance. You will also implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You will arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You will build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. You will also provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility: You will need to be flexible in terms of availability and willing to work on a variety of projects.
  • Experience and Skills: You will have experience of merchandising, retail, and/or customer service, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and Ownership: You will thrive in an environment where you have ownership of your work and are able to use your own initiative to find solutions.
  • Manual Handling: You will be comfortable with manual handling and able to move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
  • Technology: You will be confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about your tasks.
  • Transportation: You will have a full UK driving license and access to a car.
