Retail Merchandiser

About the Role:
eXPD8 is seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team in the Haltwhistle area. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you will work with high street retailers on behalf of iconic brands, ensuring the effective setup of fixtures, attractive product displays, and well-stocked shelves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Standards: Adhere to merchandising standards, store policies, and health and safety guidelines, implementing planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
- Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
- Strong Communication and Relationship Building: Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, providing accurate and timely feedback to client account teams.
Requirements:
- Flexibility in terms of availability
- Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to find solutions
- Pride in delivering great standards and service for clients
- Comfortable with manual handling and willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items
- Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions
- A full UK driving license and access to a car
