About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team at Wollaton Park Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, working closely with our GPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care to patients, including primary care treatment, preventative care, screening, and education.
  • Focus on delivering evidence-based practice for patients with long-term conditions and providing preventative healthcare to our practice population.
  • Work effectively with our integrated nursing teams to provide quality nursing care throughout the practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues, recognising the needs of individuals with diverse backgrounds and requirements.
  • Take an active role in supporting the practice to achieve local and national targets, including the PMS contract, QOF, and Enhanced Services.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with sufficient post-qualification experience, a strong understanding of nursing principles, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to have a GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
