About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Epidemiology Strategy to join our team at GSK. As a key member of our Epidemiology Department, you will provide scientific leadership in the application of epidemiological expertise and methods to answer key challenges identified across all phases of drug development. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a network to ensure alignment of an epidemiology program with the broader asset/disease strategy. You will also identify new vendors, tools, and data sources to deliver epidemiology solutions for the asset/disease area.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a network to ensure alignment of an epidemiology program with the broader asset/disease strategy.
  • Identify new vendors, tools, and data sources to deliver epidemiology solutions for the asset/disease area.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives on the role of Epidemiology at the departmental level.
  • Be an internal expert who may represent GSK on scientific discussions with internal governance bodies and external regulators/external conferences with support.
  • Accountable for the program of epidemiology for an asset or disease area.
  • Bring RWE insights to inform asset/disease area strategy, development activities for one asset or disease area.
  • Propose and negotiate content of epidemiologic program and budget with matrix leader.
