About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Brand Engagement to join our team at dunnhumby. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive brand engagement strategy that drives business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Propositional Space Map: Create a detailed map of the propositional space, identifying areas for growth and opportunities for revenue expansion.
  • Drive a Joint Strategy and Product Roadmap: Collaborate with media product teams and Tesco retail stakeholders to develop a joint strategy and product roadmap that meets the needs of brand advertisers.
  • Prove Effectiveness of Omnichannel Offering: Work with our Head of Measurement to develop plans to prove the effectiveness of our omnichannel offering in driving brand goals and unlocking brand budgets.
  • Lead Brand Engagement Pilots: Lead brand engagement pilots with CPG manufacturers and agencies, creating new ways of supporting brands and utilizing the full breadth of Tesco Retail Media and Tesco plc capabilities.
  • Identify Key Commercial Partnerships: Identify key commercial partnerships that support business propositions and support the Retail Media Leadership to source and agree commercial partnerships.
  • Represent Brand Advertising Proposition: Represent our brand advertising proposition externally and guide product marketing in their representation of our capabilities.
Requirements
  • Background in CPG Brand Marketing: Possess a background in CPG brand marketing or the strategic planning of media and advertising.
  • Experience in Digital Advertising and Retail Media: Have in-depth experience in the digital advertising and retail media environment.
