Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Community Stroke Team in Nottingham South. As a Band 7 Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing specialist stroke rehabilitation services to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist clinical reasoning, critical thinking, reflection, and analysis to support assessments, treatment, and management of stroke survivors with complex presentations.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively with clients, carers, and their families, and supervise, teach, and develop other staff as required.
  • Support patients in the community to enable them to live their optimum life, being self-caring and independent with their health needs following a stroke.
  • Ensure the Community Stroke Rehabilitation service meets accreditation standards or works towards meeting standards of accreditation by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) National Stroke Rehabilitation guidelines and National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Stroke Rehabilitation guidelines.
Requirements
  • Recognised Physiotherapy Degree Qualification
  • Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice
