Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Metrology Engineer to join our Materials Assurance team at the National Composites Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct rigorous testing following international and British standards, conducting inspections, and analyzing materials.
  • Utilize metrology equipment and software for accurate data capture and analysis.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of projects, particularly in composite manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in state-of-the-art metrology techniques.
Requirements
  • Proficient in the use of various metrology equipment and software, including Polyworks and SpatialAnalyzer.
  • Experience in mechanical testing, microscopy, NDT, and thermal analysis.
  • Knowledge of CAD software, automation, and coding languages.
  • Background working with composite materials and composite manufacturing processes.
