Job Title: Temporary Education Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Specialist to join our team at East Ayrshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering an innovative and creative curriculum to support the promotion and delivery of key objectives in relation to the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an innovative and creative curriculum to support the promotion and delivery of key objectives in relation to the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
- Work closely with teachers and other education professionals to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination of education services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of education policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching or education qualifications and experience.
- Ability to develop and deliver innovative and creative curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of education policies and procedures.
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary full-time post to cover a period of maternity leave based at Willowbank School, Kilmarnock. The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to be worked at the direction of the Line Manager.
Salary: The full-time salary of this post is between £38,000 and £48,000 per annum.
