Job Opportunity:
A permanent Physiotherapy Specialist MSK Professional position has arisen at University Hospital Crosshouse. This role involves being the first point of contact in GP practices within NHS Ayrshire and Arran, covering Holmhead and Old Irvine Road in Kilmarnock. Clinical sessions in core MSK will be an integral part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
This position requires leading and providing education, training, and support to Physiotherapists, Allied Health professionals, and other healthcare staff. A proven teaching background is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and be HCPC registered.
Requirements:
It is crucial that the selected candidate possesses advanced knowledge of managing patients with complex MSK and chronic pain conditions. Postgraduate training to Masters Level relevant to the speciality of MSK is mandatory. A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is essential for this role.
Working Hours:
The working hours for this position are 22 hours per week.
