We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Practitioner to join our Custody Nurse team, providing exceptional healthcare services to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.
As a Senior Clinical Practitioner, you will play a vital role in assessing fitness for detention, interview, release, or transfer. You will also provide comprehensive clinical assessments, offer care, and undertake forensic examinations as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing effective care plans
- Providing expert advice on healthcare interventions and referrals for minor illness or injury
- Undertaking forensic examinations to record injuries and collect DNA evidence
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
