About the Role

As a Head Teacher at our primary school in Lancashire, you will be responsible for leading the school's strategic direction, developing and implementing a comprehensive school development plan, and ensuring that staff, pupils, and parents are engaged and motivated towards shared educational goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • School Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes, working closely with staff to ensure high-quality education.
  • Curriculum Design: Oversee the design and implementation of a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils and complies with national standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, support, and develop a team of teachers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • Safeguarding: Act as the school's designated safeguarding lead, ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, and that pupil safety and welfare are always prioritized.
  • Community Partnerships: Build strong partnerships with parents, governors, and the local community, promoting active involvement in school life and open communication.
