Women's Engagement Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Women's Engagement Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with women and women's support agencies to identify and reduce barriers for women accessing drug and alcohol treatment.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with women and women's support agencies to improve access to treatment services.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address barriers to treatment, including those related to gender, culture, and socioeconomic status.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and introductions to treatment services for women, including those who are hard to reach.
- Collaborate with community venues and organizations to provide recovery coordination services for women.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Recovery Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the recovery agenda and its application in substance misuse services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups, including women and women's support agencies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
