Payroll Administration Manager

i2i Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager in the daily management of the team, reviewing payrolls before submission to clients, and providing technical support to both the team and clients on payroll-related matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to progress their career in payroll and has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the PAYE system, experience in running multiple payrolls, processing pensions, and employee expenses, and previous supervisory/management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Payroll Manager with the daily management of the payroll team.
* Review payrolls before submission to clients.
* Provide technical support to both the team and clients on payroll-related matters.
* Assist with training new and current team members, and meeting regularly with the team for one-to-ones.
* Develop and refine payroll procedures.
* Proactively keep up to date with payroll legislation and compliance – ensuring the team is fully informed.
Requirements:
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the PAYE system.
* Experienced in running multiple payrolls, processing pensions, and employee expenses.
* Previous supervisory/management experience.
