We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Payroll Administrator at Next Payments. This position involves processing fortnightly payroll for approximately 180 employees and contractors, utilizing Employment Hero Payroll, MYOB NZ & Reckon software.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently process fortnightly payroll for AU & NZ employees and contractors.
  • Ensure timesheets, leave requests, payroll changes, records, and other related materials are completed prior to payroll processing.
  • Manage accounts payable entries, reconciliations, and payments.
  • Coordinate company credit card expense allocations and reconciliations.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding staff.
  • Prepare letters and contracts for existing and new staff, addressing various HR-related situations.

This role is ideal for an organized and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and intermediate to advanced MS Excel abilities. Previous experience in payroll processing and utilization of 'Employment Hero', 'Hero Pay', and 'Reckon' software is highly desirable. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Human Resources, or Business would be beneficial, along with a solid understanding of general HR principles.
