We are seeking a talented and dedicated Youth Care Specialist - Recreation and Training to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering innovative recreational events within the home and wider community, as well as contributing to care planning and staff training and development.
Job Description:This role requires a high level of creativity and enthusiasm, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children and young adults with complex needs and be able to adapt to changing situations.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and deliver a wide range of recreational events within the home and wider community.
- Contribute positively to care planning and participate supportively in reviews.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff.
- Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience.
- Experience of providing care and support to young adults, ideally those with disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
- Competent written and oral communication skills, including computer literacy.
- A competitive salary of approximately }75 per hour.
