Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Liaison Officer to join our team. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract role that requires the successful candidate to cover the Cotswolds and South Gloucestershire areas with occasional travel to the West Midlands.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating specialist works and major projects, ensuring we deliver exceptional customer service to our residents. This involves providing vital information and advice on specialist works, conducting impact and needs assessments, and working closely with residents to identify their housing needs and preferences.

You will also play a key role in supporting the procurement of high-quality contractors, developing effective relationships with service providers, and managing administrative processes to ensure timely delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating activity across the team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Providing information and advice on specialist works to residents
  • Conducting impact and needs assessments to support residents
  • Supporting the procurement of high-quality contractors
  • Developing effective relationships with service providers
  • Managing administrative processes to ensure timely delivery of services

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in a customer-focused environment, delivering excellent customer service. You should also have experience working in social housing and supporting property investment or housing-related activities.

In addition, you will need strong ICT skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
