Food and Beverage Operations Manager

To ensure that the food and beverage services offered by Kippie Sports & Leisure Club meet the highest standards and are delivered within budget. This includes managing events, creating a positive work culture, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the quality of food and beverage services, ensuring they meet member expectations and record any issues for prompt corrective action.
- Manage the profit and loss of the Lodge Operation, schedule shifts, and oversee daily operations or delegate to the F&B Supervisor.
- Develop, manage, and report on actuals vs. annual budget for the Lodge operations, ensuring the best deals for all produce are obtained.
- Manage staff to deliver consistent high-quality service, identify any gaps, and close them in a timely manner.
- Develop, cost, and manage events in conjunction with the Marketing & Events Manager and Head Chef, and ensure a range of event F&B packages are available.
- Maintain, recruit, and train staff in conjunction with the HR Manager and Head Chef to deliver quality service in the Lodge Operations.
- Complete annual appraisals for all front-of-house staff and the Head Chef in conjunction with HR.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant F&B licensing requirements and obtain training for required compliance.
- Update and develop menus in conjunction with the Head Chef, which will deliver the required margin on F&B.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food production and business management.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work well with others.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and intermediate food safety certificate.
- Computer literacy and customer service training.
- Proven financial management and budget controls.
