Food and Beverage Operations Manager

To ensure that the food and beverage services offered by Kippie Sports & Leisure Club meet the highest standards and are delivered within budget. This includes managing events, ensuring quality and safety, and creating a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Lodge, including food production, service, and quality control.
- Event Management: Develop, manage, and report on events, including member and corporate events, to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Staff Management: Lead and manage staff to deliver consistent high-quality service, identify gaps, and close them in a timely manner.
- Financial Management: Develop, manage, and report on the annual budget for the Lodge operations, ensuring that costs are controlled and profitability is maintained.
- Menu Development: Update and develop menus in conjunction with the Head Chef to deliver the required margin on food and beverage sales.
- Leadership and Management: Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Food Production and Service: Knowledge of food production and service, with the ability to work well with others and provide excellent customer service.
- Business Management: Business management skills, including financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computers and industry technology, with the ability to use software and systems to manage operations.
- Experience: 2 years' experience of leading people in a food service environment.
- Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision & Leadership (not essential), Personal License Holder, Intermediate Food Safety Certificate, and Computer Literacy.
