Main Job Purpose:

To ensure that the food and beverage services offered by Kippie Sports & Leisure Club meet the highest standards and are delivered within budget. This includes managing events, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and safety, and creating a positive culture among staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Lodge, including scheduling shifts, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant licensing requirements.
  • Event Management: Develop, manage, and report on events, including member and corporate events, in conjunction with the Marketing & Events Manager and Head Chef.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver high-quality service, including compulsory and development training.
  • Menu Development: Update and develop menus in conjunction with the Head Chef to deliver the required margin on food and beverage sales.
  • Financial Management: Manage the profit and loss of the Lodge Operation, develop and manage budgets, and ensure compliance with financial controls.

  • Leadership and Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Food Production Knowledge: Knowledge of food production and preparation.
  • Business Management Skills: Business management skills, including financial management and budget controls.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy and knowledge of industry technology.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with others.
