About the Role

As a Senior Product Sales Specialist, you will be the key contact for Infoblox, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organisation while supporting reseller activities and opportunity creation. You will also work closely with the business unit to develop the channel via existing and new reseller partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand where the vendor complements and competes within the existing vendor landscape.
  • Help create end-user opportunities for Infoblox.
  • Work to achieve both individual and team targets.
  • Train and enable the Exclusive Networks team, ensuring accreditations are maintained.
  • Manage key accounts alongside the Account Managers.
  • Work closely with the internal and external sales teams to set and coordinate partner meetings.
  • Proactively work with Exclusive Networks and Vendor marketing teams to:
    • Recruit, enable, and drive new resellers.
    • Develop end-user lead generation programs with resellers.
    • Implement sales and technical training programs.
  • Manage pipeline, loan process, and stock profile for the vendor.
  • Ensure internal systems are up to date with vendor pricelists, collateral, discount structures, and processes.
  • Produce monthly sales forecast reports and statistics.
  • Implement and drive the quarterly business plans.
  • Work with the partner to onboard the vendor through training and enablement.
  • Provide ongoing training to educate the partner on new releases and competitive messaging.
  • Support vendor-focused activities, such as end-user events and focus days.
  • You will be required to visit resellers 2-3 days per week and maintain relationships with our account managers, with regular visits in the offices.

Requirements:

  • Proven Business Development and Account Management experience within the IT channel.
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and the commercial challenges for distribution.
  • Experience and enjoyment in forming, building, and farming relationships.
  • Ability to articulate the vendor message to suit the audience and gain buy-in at all levels.
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive approach.
  • Take initiative and be a supportive team player.
  • Service-driven and target-oriented.
  • Experienced in presenting to senior-level contacts.
  • Personable and outgoing, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-driven, with strong analytical skills.
