Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with personal care, domestic tasks, medication, and health-related activities in line with agreed care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Assist residents in maintaining their independence by supporting them with daily tasks and activities.
  • Complete accurate and timely records of care plans, reviews, and admissions.
  • Liaise with colleagues, other agencies, and families/carers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience of caring for others, either in a work-based, voluntary, or personal capacity.
  • Understanding and empathy with the needs of vulnerable people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of clients.
  • Ability to follow routines, carry out set care plans, and record changes in individual condition.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
