Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Support Worker to join our team at Siamo Group Ltd. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization that is committed to delivering outstanding care and educational support to young people with challenging behaviors.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for developing interests and attitudes of the young people, supporting them to live independent and healthy lives, and encouraging educational goals. You will also lead a team to achieve the best outcomes for the young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement care plans to support the young people's needs
  • Lead and support a team of care workers to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people
  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and approaches to childcare within the provision
  • Organize and lead group activities and holidays
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Experience of working with young people in a residential setting
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing with regards to children and young people
  • Must be a driver and hold a valid UK Driving Licence
