About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and adults, while also promoting their autonomy and development. They will work collaboratively with other professionals to identify and address any issues that may impact an individual's quality of life.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide support to individuals who are experiencing complex family or social care needs.
  • Develop and implement plans to promote the health and wellbeing of children and adults, including those with disabilities or diminished capacity.
  • Work closely with communities, families, and individuals to maximize their personal strengths, social networks, and resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to social care staff, students, and newly qualified social workers.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of activity on cases.
Requirements
  • CQSW, DipSW, BA Social Work or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Knowledge of relevant childcare legislation.
  • Ability to travel independently to all required areas by the job's responsibilities.
