About the Role

Campden BRI is seeking a highly skilled Quality Specialist to join our Analytical Chemistry department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality management systems are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 17025 standards.
  • Communicate effectively with departmental staff to promote compliance and awareness of quality management systems.
  • Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance to the Associate Director on quality management system status, trends, and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality management system requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment with UKAS 17025 quality standards.
  • Strong administration skills, including business management processes and formal standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with experience in quality, technical, or scientific roles.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and survey management software.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and cooperation with staff.
  • Diplomatic and objective, with a can-do attitude.
