Travel Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Japanese travel professional to join our team at Antella Travel Recruitment.

We are seeking a skilled Travel Operations Specialist to work with our UK Tour Operator, who is expanding its Japanese team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for booking and supporting tours throughout Europe and inbound to the UK for Japanese groups.

No sales experience is required, and you will not be required to handle emergency phones.

This is a hybrid-based position in London, working Monday to Friday only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage booking requirements and allocate services with suppliers and in our systems.
  • Coordinate tour requirements, including meals, guides, site entrances, ferries, trains, and coaches.
  • Maintain regular contact with suppliers and ensure quality control of services.
  • Oversee operational costs for the area and participate in budget preparation.
  • Manage booking requirements, tracking assigned group space and special requirements, and notify any changes.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and fluency in Japanese.
  • Good knowledge of the UK or Europe or both required.
  • Work experience in travel is essential.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work with all levels of employees.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and with budget constraints.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities and strong prioritization skills.
