Travel Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Japanese travel professional to join our UK-based tour operator as we expand our Japanese team.

You will be responsible for managing tour bookings and supporting Japanese groups throughout Europe and the UK. This is a hybrid-based position in London, Monday to Friday only.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage booking requirements and allocate services with suppliers and in our systems.
  • Maintain regular contact with suppliers and ensure quality control of services.
  • Oversee operational costs for the area and participate in budget preparation.
  • Manage booking requirements, including tracking assigned group space and special requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English and fluency in Japanese.
  • Good knowledge of the UK or Europe or both required.
  • Work experience in travel is essential.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and with budget constraints.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities and strong prioritization skills.
