Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive finance support and processing services to clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services within set KPIs and activity timescales.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to utilize an adult care case management system for service users requiring direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments.
  • Ensure that advice is interpreted and managed in accordance with local policies and national guidance for direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments.
  • Manage complex data management on behalf of the local authority, adhering to local policies and national guidance for processing and maintaining direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and extract data to support service user complaints/requests, including SARS or FOI.
  • Communicate effectively with external bodies, such as legal service organizations.
  • Handle routine correspondence and telephone enquiries of a personal and confidential nature related to service users' financial details and payments to service providers.
  • Manage daily incoming and outgoing post for the direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments teams within agreed timescales and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and update procedures to improve quality and consistency.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Lincolnshire County Council staff, service providers, service users, and other professionals.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of computer and manual filing systems.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed, within the scope of the post and with the agreement of the post holder.
