Finance Business Partner

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on behalf of a large manufacturing business near Peterborough. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will provide critical support to the senior management team, providing up-to-date and accurate management information, and on-site daily results and process guidance driving change and improved profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weekly Financial Reporting: Preparation of weekly P&L and detailed site weekly reporting.
  • Business Partner: Business Partner Site General Manager and management team.
  • Daily Cost and Yield Information: Report Daily Cost and Yield information.
  • Best Practices: Advise on best site practices and procedures.
  • Performance Analysis: Providing insight and analysis on the performance drivers and cost drivers.
  • Month-End Journals: Month End Journals and reconciliation to the weeklies
  • Mentorship: Mentor and train the on-site Assistant Accountant.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) with knowledge of financial and management accounting and an ability to deliver in a complex, fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will possess excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills with good verbal communication skills, able to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way. Experience of stakeholder management is essential.
