Community Outreach Addiction Support Worker

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled professional, focusing on substance misuse intervention and community outreach.

As part of the Forward Leeds service, you will contribute to delivering evidence-based interventions, addressing the needs of individuals and communities affected by addiction.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted interventions for service users struggling with substance misuse, including non-opiate and alcohol-related issues.
  • Promote the Forward Leeds service and provide guidance and information to the general public through various channels.
Essential Skills:
  • Experience in substance misuse intervention and community outreach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively with diverse groups, including those in the night-time economy.
  • Caseload management skills.
Salary: £32,000 per annum
