Job Title: SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs in the East of England.

Job Type:

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

Salary:

£20 - £30 per hour, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
  • Provide tailored support to students, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience with specific SEN conditions such as Autism or Dyslexia
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a learner's home setting
  • May require travel to different locations within the East of England
