Job Title: SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs in the East of England.

Job Type:

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

Primary Industry:

Education and Training

Salary:

£20 - £30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored learning plans to meet the unique needs of students with SEN
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience with specific SEN conditions such as Autism or Dyslexia
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a learner's home setting
  • May require travel to different locations within the East of England
