Nursing Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Oncology & Medical Ward at The Wellington Hospital specialist.

Job Summary:
  • Clinical Leadership: Ensure the highest standards of care in the clinical environment, supporting the team in delivering patient-focused services.
  • Team Management: Directly manage a team of 6 nurses and 2 healthcare assistants, ensuring effective team collaboration and performance.
  • Specialist Care: Provide advanced nursing advice and facilitate comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in leading a nursing team within a 17-bed Oncology & Medical unit and two Neuroendocrine suites, providing exemplary care to oncology and medical patients.

You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver expert support throughout patients' care journeys, while fostering an environment of continuous professional development and high-quality individualized care.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
