About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in the Greater Manchester area. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in protecting children from abuse and maltreatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and manage cases of child safeguarding, ensuring the child's health and development are not compromised.
- To develop and implement effective strategies to prevent harm and promote safe care for vulnerable children.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and registration with Social Work England.
- Post-qualifying experience in Children's Social Work, preferably within Looked After Children or Duty and Assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders.
