AECOM, a world-leading infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Water Project Manager to support water treatment and distribution related planning, design, and construction projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the planning, design, construction, and operation of water-related projects, including supply, treatment, pumping stations, storage, and distribution/transmission.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful regional and national group that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and oversee pilot studies
  • Coordinate and oversee condition assessment of water infrastructure
  • Perform process technology evaluations and selection based on raw water characteristics and flows to satisfy safe drinking water regulations
  • Concept, preliminary, and detail designs for water treatment plant upgrades
  • Concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for water distribution projects (pumping stations, storage tanks, and distribution/transmission mains)

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of minimum experience, or a related field, as well as a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Located within or ability to relocate to an AECOM Northeast Region location (New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey).
